The 10-Step Korean Skincare Routine For Brides

This is a Korean OG Skin Care routine, with 10 steps, each targeting a specific part of your skin. Before diving into the details below, there is a fair warning. Korean skincare is not just any routine. This is more than a ritual, which requires a lifestyle change. You need to invest an hour or more in these ten steps each day, so make sure you have that kind of time on your hands before you go into this routine.

So the bride and groom here is your guide on using Korean skincare trends to light your bride!

Oil-Based Cleanser

Before Korean skincare entered the market, most of us were not even aware that there was an oil-based cleanser. However, this detergent is the basis of Korea’s famous double cleaning step.

Step 1: You must apply an oil-based cleanser to your dry skin to remove any dirt or makeup.

Step 2: Gently massage the product into the skin and then use warm water to emulsify the product before rinsing it.

Step 3: Try using an oil-based cleanser or conditioner fortified with Macadamia oil, Jojoba oil or grapeseed oil as this oil helps you break down all forms of oil-based products such as makeup and sunscreen.

Water-Based Cleanser

The second step towards double cleaning is water based cleaning. Double cleansing is a procedure recommended by many dermatologists and cosmetologists as it helps to remove any form of debris or makeup and oil from your skin that can clog your pores. Water-based detergents also help solve water-based contaminants such as dirt and sweat. Look for ingredients like green tea, rice water or pear extract in the detergent for better results.

Exfoliator

Physical and chemical exfoliators help clear our clogged pores. However, this is the only step we recommend that you do not take every day. Perform this step at least 2-3 times a week. Korean skincare is good on chemical shells because they are softer but are more effective at removing dead skin from your skin. Some peeling gels are very nice so you can use them every day if you feel the need. Exfoliate or skin masks enriched with dark sugar, lactic acid and salicylic acid make your skin so smooth after use that you want to keep touching it.

Toner

Meet your most important preparation products. Using toner not only helps remove residues from skin cleansers and shells, but also helps create a hydration barrier on your skin. This is the first step to update all fluid lost during the first three steps of this routine. When using toner, the skin absorbs all other ingredients better, as the skin absorbs all kinds of moisture more easily when it is moist. And don’t forget how good toner is for your open pores!

Essence

Essences is a gentle skin care liquid packed with concentrated anti-aging ingredients, moisturizers and skin complexes. They are not too sticky to the skin and texture like water.

Step 1: All you have to do is sprinkle some products on hand and pat them gently on the skin.

Step 2: Look for active ingredients such as rice water, birch juice, hyaluronic acid and yeast when shopping for your perfect being.

Treatments

Treatments include products such as skin enhancers, ampoules and serum. Although there are treatments that can be done by the bride in the salon, this is considered a facial in a bottle. These products focus on some problems with your skin. For example, if you are dealing with acne, you can use an anti-stain balm. While looking for something for anti-aging, you should go in for an anti-aging ampoule or serum. Such treatments are enriched with power production products such as vitamin C, soy and tea tree oil which help overcome certain problems.

Sheet Mask

Let us introduce you to the soul of Korean skin care – leaf masks! This eye-catching skin care product is so easy on the pocket and can be part of your regular skincare. While sheet masks are most effective when used every day, they can be used every week for hydration purposes. The main feature of sheet worms is the fact that they are soaked in serum, which is better absorbed due to prolonged mask contact with your skin. Plus, using sheet masks is more of a calming meditation ritual than others.

Eye Cream

Using eye cream every day is good for the sensitive skin around the eyes. Eye creams are specially designed to work wonders on the skin around the eyes as they are the thinnest. Korean eye cream has a very light and flowing texture with ingredients like honey, ginseng and Lilly which are great for reducing swelling and helping to shine dark circles. All you have to do is take the number of dots and pat it on the skin around the eyes.

Tip: Do not rub, massage and gently pat the product!

Moisturiser

The last step in hydration you need is a moisturizer. Creams, lotions, emulsions, gels or sewing masks – moisturizers are available in various forms. They are the last step in sealing all moisture in your skin. Your moisturizing ingredients must depend on your skin problems. However, the most common beneficial ingredients include cica cream, bamboo, green tea, hyaluronic acid, snail mucin and chia seeds.

Tip: When applying moisturizer, don’t forget to cover your neck as well.

Sun Protection

This is the step you need to take during the day. When the whole routine is complete, apply sunscreen to the skin. Korean sunscreens are usually water based and do not leave a gray or purple color on the skin like most others. Using sunscreen is very important, although you will stay in most of the day. Sunscreen is useful to protect your skin from harmful UV rays and delay aging. We recommend that you look for sunscreen products that have high SPF and ingredients such as titanium dioxide and zinc oxide.
